Tierra de Maria, Tagaytay
Our Lady of Manaoag at Tierra de Maria, Tagaytay
Tierra de Maria is just across Development Academy of the Philippines and near the Tagaytay Picnic Grove. It is also the home of the 50-foot image of the Virgin Mary, the Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and Earth. Her arms are stretched out welcoming everyone for prayers and thanksgiving and healing of body, mind and spirit.

When you enter Tierra de Maria, at the right side there is a garden wall-vine of murals showing the Mysteries of the Holy Rosary, the Stations of the Cross and the Life and Sufferings of Jesus. The wall paintings are beautiful.

In front of image of Mother Mary is a deep wishing well which symbolizes the waters of the Weddings of Cana where Jesus Christ was asked to turn the water into wine. This is a reminder that nothing is impossible if you have faith in God. Miracles can happen in our lives with the intercession of the Mother Mary.

On the third floor of Tierra Maria, you can see the magnificent view of the Taal Volcano Lake. When you look at it, it makes you realize that God is so good, he created beautiful things on earth for us to treasure and take care. Just looking at the Taal Lake view makes one feel relax and experience inner peace and happiness.

If you are in the vicinity of Tagaytay, visit the Pink Sisters of the Adoration Convent of the Divine Mercy. The nuns here wear pink robes so they are known as the “Pink Sisters”. Most Catholics come here to attend the holy masses in the chapel and ask for intervention for various prayer intentions. The Pink Sisters are believed to be powerful prayer warriors because they devote their lives in prayers and meditation and sacrifice.
