Double coincidence, Elvie!

In today’s newspapers, I read a short story. The main character in the story has a dream in which he meets ... The Alchemist!

In today’s newspaper, there was a picture of the floods in Manila and I thought I’d write to you and ask if you and those known to you are alright. I prayed for those who have endured such devastation to their lives. :-(

To make it a threepeat, Paulo Coelho was born on August 24, which is the day my parents got married 60 years ago. I will mention this briefly in my upcoming post.

I have yet to read this most famous book of his. I’m such a news junkie, I barely get time to pick up a paperback.
