The Great Farm Race at Gratchi Farms Tagaytay

Team building participants at the Gratchi Farms Tagaytay entrance

I was too busy and I was not able to post this soonest.  About two months ago,  I was given a task to look for a team building venue for a cross functional team building hosted by our Quality Assurance Department.  It was a short notice and so I immediately browse the web for some team building venues and came up with some proposals.  One of the venue I found is located in the cool breeze ,city of Tagaytay called "Gratchi's Getaway" which was the chosen venue for the team building.

 A peaceful and refreshing place

Gratchi Farm is a 6-hectare natural landscape and a great venue for team building activities, conferences, seminars, educational tours, workshops, events or simply for relaxation.  We availed of the day tour with the "Great Farm Race." It was a day full of action packed creative activities and physical challenges to encourage trust, camaraderie and team spirit.  We were divided into two teams ~ Yellow Team and Red Team.  The team must find  a series of checkpoints within the resort, decipher clues and must successfully complete each task before they can proceed with the next to complete and win the farm race.

The Magical Winter Tale

The Magical Winter Tale

Crown Asia, the builder of Valenza Homes in Sta. Rosa City has launched its awesome Christmas Display this November 2014.   A grand Christmas display is a yearly tradition of Crown Asia and this year's display is inspired by the Disney Movie "Frozen".

The Ice Castle

The Christmas display was a giant replica of the ice castle of the Snow Queen "Queen Elsa"  which changes color from time to time and looks amazing and magical.  You will also noticed Olaf, the enchanted snowman.  He is the friendliest snowman who has an innocent and outgoing personality with an ability to disassemble himself during good times and not so good times that brings laughter to everyone.

The Polar bear

Here's Santa welcoming everyone, young and old

It would have been more spectacular if they put Queen Elsa and Princess Ana in the display

When we visited this grand christmas display, it was the birthday of one of our house member named, Ana.  We took her out for dinner together with another house member as our birthday treat.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANA ! (1st from right)

Olaf says "Have a Magical Christmas everyone !!!

The Horror House (LBA Trick or Treat)

THE HORROR HOUSE ~ LBA1 Trick or Treat 2014

This was a late post since I was so busy but still I wanted to share it.  Last October 25, 2014 was the LBA1 Trick or Treat. The theme this year was "HOLLYWOOD GOES TO LBA".  It was a fun-filled day for the kids and young at hearts which includes the following activities in our club house ~ Costume Contest, Halloween Games and Watching "Disney Movies." After the club house activities, the children went from house to house for trick or treat. There was also a 3-day bazaars at the soccerfield.  They also hold the "Bel-Air Got Talent", Search for Ms. Body Beautiful and a Mini-Concert. What a spooktacular events for everyone !

The LBA Trick or Treat is a yearly event in our village and we always participate by decorating our house with spooky and scary stuffs to liven it up and for the children and everyone's enjoyment.  This year, we created five sections ~ The White Lady and the Witches, The Skeletons, The Cemetery, The Groom and the Bride and the Walking Dead Section.  My stepmother and I share the same passion for arts and crafts and decorating so we worked together to create our decors  out of old clothes, used papers, cartons and some other stuff we can find in our hourse.  We bought some masks and other materials and accesories, too.  My father who is an electrical engineer was in charge of the electrical, sounds and lights. Some of our neighbors told us that our halloween decorations looks like decors in the U.S.  It is cool, a foreigner said.
