EARTH HOUR ~ March 26, 2011 at 8:30 PM
Earth Hour 2011 will take place on March 26, 2011. Let us support by turning off our lights at 8:30 PM. The participating channels in the Philippines, ABS-CBN will cease transmission during lights out and Cartoon Network will halt transmissions during lights out.
At 8:30 PM on Saturday 26th March 2011, lights will switch off around the globe for Earth Hour and people will commit to actions that go beyond the hour.
Earth Hour is a global event organized by World Wildlife Fund (WWF) for nature and is held every year on the last Saturday of March asking households and businesses to switch off their non-essential lights and other electrical appliances for one hour to raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate change. Earth Hour was conceived by WWF and The Sydney Morning Herald in 2007, when 2.2 million residents of Sydney participated by turning off all non-essential lights.

This is good video. I am trying to turn off all the lights or appliances when I do not use them instead of lightning the house like a Christmas tree.
