My boss, Gregory Reichow ~ Vice President for Sunpower Philippines operations
My boss, Greg Reichow will soon be leaving the Philippines by May, 2011 after spending 7.7 years working at Sunpower Philippines Mfg. Ltd., a solar cell manufacturer and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sunpower Corporation U.S.A. based in California, U.S.A. Currently, our company has two manufacturing facilities in the Philippines. One in Laguna Technopark, Binan, Laguna (Cell Fab 1) and the other bigger facilities is located in First Philippine Industrial Park, Sto. Tomas, Batangas (Cell Fab 2). Greg handles both fabs and the module operations.
To show his appreciation for his entire staff for their support and valuable contributions to the company over the years, he hosted a "Thank You Dinner" in Alabang.

Cheers for Greg ! Opa !!!
One thing I learned in this get together is the Greek work "Opa" which in my mind means "Cheers". I wonder what it really means so I decided to do a research. OPA is a Greek Word that may be used as an ‘Exclamation’, or ‘Utterance’, or ‘Declaration’, or ‘Affirmation’ or a lovingly gentle way of telling you to ‘Stop’ ... depending on the situational context.
It is a word or pronouncement of celebration; the celebration of life itself. It is another way of expressing joy and gratitude to God, Life, and others, for bringing us into the state of ultimate wisdom; that all that really matters is health, family, and friends.
I met Greg's children : Sarah Anne Reichow, Abigail Leigh Reichow and Emma Catherine Reichow. His three (3) Marias were just cute little angels when I joined Sunpower in 2004. Now they have grown-up into beautiful young ladies. The oldest, Sarah is a swimmer. Abbie and Emma are gymnasts and they have won several gold medals in gymnastic competitions. I love to watch gymnastics and I hope to see these young ladies compete in the Olympic games in the future.
Great food from CYMA which serves Greek Cuisines
